Starting something new always brings doubts, and learning a language can seem like a big challenge. That’s why we created this course: KM 0, which means starting point in English.

KM 0 is much more than just a course; it’s a gentle, welcoming, and pressure-free introduction to the world of Spanish. You don’t need any prior knowledge — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. The teachers at El Camino will guide you every step of the way, helping you explore the language without fear, building confidence, and discovering that learning can be fun and accessible.

By the end of the course, you won’t just have learned your first words and expressions — you will have taken the first step toward a world full of new connections and unique experiences.

What you will learn

· You’ll start by getting familiar with the sounds of the language, so your ear begins to recognize its rhythm and flow. Soon, those sounds will feel more natural, and you’ll notice patterns that make the language easier to follow.

· Then we’ll move on to the basic rules: how to build simple sentences, what common structures mean, and how to pronounce each letter. These small but powerful tools will give you a solid foundation.

· At the same time, you’ll begin to build a small but practical vocabulary of everyday words. With these, you’ll be able to form your first phrases and communicate simple ideas right from the start.

· And above all, this stage is about confidence. We want you to feel comfortable with the language and with yourself as a learner — because learning Spanish isn’t just possible, it’s exciting, rewarding, and fun.

By the end of this course, you’ll have a much clearer idea of what learning Spanish really feels like. You’ll have listened to the sounds, tried out your first phrases, and practiced simple sentences — and many of your questions will finally have answers. Most likely, you’ll be thinking:

“Yes! I want to keep learning Spanish!”

And if not, that’s totally fine too. This course is all about exploring Spanish at your own pace — no pressure, just a safe and welcoming space to try things out.
